Accelerating a shift towards a low carbon society is the goal of Shift 2050. The Shift Places competition was launched at this year’s Tällberg Forum.
The annual Tällberg Forum brings together 400-500 people over five days from 22 to 28 June 2009. The annual gatherings organized for over two decades by the Tällberg Foundation have evolved into an innovative global Forum characterized by an atmosphere of openness, honesty, warmth and creativity. Every year, leaders from all over the world and from various sectors of society gather in the small Swedish village of Tällberg to talk about and reflect upon the challenges and opportunities that stem from global interdependence.
